This is a done deal. Zouhair Feddal will soon wear the Sporting Lisbon jersey.
Aporting’s sporting director Hugo Viana is in Seville to finalize the details of the transfer of Zouhair Feddal, who has bid farewell to his club Betis Sevilla.
After some complications in the negotiations, which delayed the arrival of the Moroccan in Portugal, Bétis finally reached a transfer agreement of 2.7 million euros.
The Atlas Lion will travel to Lisbon next week, where he will undergo the usual medical examinations, before formalizing his contract with Sporting, which is expected to last four seasons.
Feddal joined Bétis in 2017 for 2.5 million euros, from Deportivo Alavés. Although the pure product of the Moghreb Athlétic de Tétouan (MAT) attracts attention thanks to its solid performances in defense, the latter did not have much opportunity to show the extent of his talent with the end of the championship.
However, the Moroccan returned in force on Sunday, July 5, against Celta Vigo, saving his team from defeat. Feddal managed to score the equalizer goal and offer a valuable point for Sevillians looking to avoid relegation.
