According to the FIFA ranking published on Thursday, the national team, with 1456 points, is fifth in the continental league behind Senegal (1555 pts), Tunisia (1506 pts), Nigeria (1493) and Algeria (1482).
At the top of the world hierarchy, Belgium dominates with 1765 points ahead of France (1733 pts), while Brazil completes the podium (1712 points)
Croatia, 6th with 1642 points, takes a place and exceeds Portugal, 7th with 1639 units. The highest increase is Myanmar, now 136th (+11), while Nicaragua has lost 13 positions.
