Fitch maintains Morocco’s Triple B

The American rating agency Fitch Ratings has maintained Morocco’s rating at BBB-.

This rating is supported by:

  • A record of macroeconomic stability, itself reflected by relatively low inflation and volatility in GDP
  • A small share of foreign currency debt in total general government debt
  • An external liquidity buffers “relatively comfortable”.
