FITUR: Queen Letizia of Spain visits the Morocco stand

The large international tourism fair “FITUR” was attended by the Queen of Spain Letizia, who inaugurated this awaited event. King Felipe VI’s wife took the opportunity to visit the Morocco stand.

The Queen was welcomed, in the Morocco stand, by Karima Benyaich, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Spain as well as the Moroccan delegation, led by Adel El Faki, Director General of ONMT.

The delegate of Moroccan tourism in Spain stressed, on this occasion, that the participation of Morocco in this international exhibition aims to highlight the diversity and the wide range of the offer of the destination of Morocco and its many assets, in particular the proximity and security.

And to highlight that Morocco is the favorite destination of the Spanish outside the European continent, and said that about 2.5 million Spanish tourists visited the Kingdom in 2018, up 6% more than the last year.

Morocco’s participation in FITUR 2019 will aim to highlight the diversity of its tourism offer, identify new modes of association and strengthen the influence of its destination internationally.

FITUR is an opportunity to highlight the richness of the tourist offer, also Moroccan in all segments, ranging from cultural tourism to business, including spa and sports tourism and adventure.
