Formula E: Marrakech goes out of the calendar

Organized for the first time in Africa in 2016 as a showcase event for the COP22 in Marrakech, the Formula E (Grand Prix automobile 100% electric) had marked the spirits with its silent cars, and celebrity guests like Leonardo Di Caprio or Prince Albert of Monaco.

And if Marrakech had since managed to preserve its place in the prestigious annual calendar of Formula E, alongside cities such as Paris, New York, Berlin, Riyadh or Mexico City, here is Morocco is not included in the calendar of the next season, recently unveiled by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), and this lack of adequate financing.

This will undoubtedly be a major loss for the ocher city, accustomed to welcome each January this high mass of renewable energies in motorsport.
