The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has decided that all matches, all competitions and categories combined, will be played behind closed doors from Wednesday 4 March. This is because of the risks of spreading the coronavirus.
“This decision, taken in coordination with the authorities concerned, is part of the measures to preserve the health of the football family (players, coaches, managers and supporters)”, indicates the football authority on its website.
The FRMF also calls “the National Leagues of Professional (LNFP), Amateur (LNFA), Diversified (LNFD) and Women (LNFF) Football to apply this decision”.
Recall that the Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded, last Monday, a first case of the new coronavirus confirmed in the laboratory of the Institut Pasteur-Maroc, of a Moroccan from Italy.
