Fuels: Total Morocco wants to compete with Afriquia

Total Morocco promises stiff competition to Afriquia, a subsidiary of the Akwa Group of businessman and Minister of Agriculture and President of the National Rally of Independents (RNI).

According to media, this oil company has just created a company specialized in hydrocarbons and intends to brew wide. The Mohammedia Base Oil Company will have a warehouse and will be engaged in the business of importing all refined petroleum products, loading and unloading ships, as well as real estate.

In this project, Total Morocco has partnered with Ola Energy Morocco and four individuals. It starts operations with a registered capital of 20 million dirhams.

Afriquia is one of the main operators of the sector in Morocco. The Moroccan firm, in addition to a huge network of service stations, has large storage capacity.
