Futsal World Ranking: Morocco climbs to 20th place

The Moroccan futsal selection continues its ascent, moving from 21st place to 20th place in the world. According to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, which quotes the latest Futsal World Ranking recognized by Fifa, the Atlas Lions still place first at the African level.

Morocco is thus classified between Belarus and Finland, with 1292 points. Reigning African champions, Hicham Dguig’s men are still ahead of the Egyptians and Libyans at the head of the African Top 3. At the top of the standings, Spain is still the leader with 1808 points, ahead of Brazil (1803) and Argentina (1694).

Remember that the national team gleaned points especially during the 6th edition of the African Cup of Nations played in Laâyoune, the International Futsal Tournament held in Croatia in March 2020 as well as the two friendlies of January 2021 against the Panama.
