Givaudan launches new site in Casablanca

Givaudan, world leader in the fragrance and flavor industry, has a new technical and commercial center for the Flavors Division in Casablanca.

The structure, which has just been inaugurated, required an investment of about 11.5 million MAD (1.2 million Swiss francs). This investment “is part of the company’s 2020 strategy to invest in high-growth markets and demonstrates its continued commitment to the Maghreb and West African regions,” said Givaudan, adding that will “meet the evolving needs of our customers in the food and beverage sector offering innovative flavor and taste solutions”.

The 600 m² site houses application laboratories equipped with specialized technologies as well as commercial spaces to offer customers taste and olfactory experiences. It will serve clients from several countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Malta, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea) and will receive support from the Givaudan Aromatic Development Center in Dubai and regional innovation centers in the Netherlands and in Switzerland.
