Guterres hails Morocco for supporting UN reform efforts

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has commended Morocco for supporting the United Nations reform efforts and its peacekeeping operations.

At a bilateral meeting in New York on Friday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, the UN chief thanked the Kingdom “for its support of United Nations reform and peacekeeping operations”.

Bourita and Guterres also “discussed the situation in the region,” according to a report of this meeting, published by the UN.

This meeting took place on the sidelines of the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the high-level segment of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
