Habanos S.A: Cigars 100% made in Morocco

Good news for cigar lovers. The company Habanos S.A manufactures in the Kingdom of Morocco its premium type cigars and rolled by hand, made from 100% Moroccan tobacco. A first on the national market.

Specialized in culture, manufacturing and the tobacco industry since 2011, the company Habanos co-founded and directed by Moulay Omar Zahraoui manufactures its cigars in Casablanca, in the first and only factory dedicated to the activity in the Kingdom of Morocco but also in Africa. The “habanos” products derive their quality and flavor from the “aficionado” tobacco variety.

From December 20 to 22, the pioneering company is organizing the first edition of the International Cigar Fair in Morocco, dedicated to the export of Moroccan cigars abroad. A most promising market evaluated by the company Habanos to a billion dollars the first year.

The company Habanos has 600 employees and 520 farmers specialized in the cultivation of tobacco for the manufacture of cigars in Morocco. “A great first in the history of the kingdom,” according to officials of the company.
