Real Madrid and Inter Milan have reached an agreement to transfer Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi from the club in the Spanish capital to the Italian team.
The duration of the contract is 5 years and the amount of the operation amounts to 40 million euros excluding bonuses which could reach 5 million euros depending on the player’s performance and Inter’s performance.
Under the agreement, the club led by Florentino Perez will keep a 5-year preferential option over the Moroccan defender who has played two seasons at Borussia Dortmund on loan.
This clause allows Real Madrid to be kept informed by Inter Milan in the event of an offer to purchase concerning the 21-year-old, leaving the Whites the possibility of equalizing or overbidding the latter, explains the publication.
The transfer of Achraf to Inter Milan would be a good option to continue his progress “before joining Real Madrid”. The plan drawn up by the club of the Spanish capital is to recover the player in the next few years to occupy the position of right side.
