Hapag-Lloyd in the capital of the Tangier Alliance subsidiary

The global shipping company in container shipping Hapag-Lloyd enters the capital of Tangier Alliance (former Marsa Internatinal Tangier Terminal S.A. MINTT), a subsidiary of Marsa Maroc. The owner now holds 10% stake in Tangier Alliance, announces the port company.

Marsa Maroc controls 50% plus one share in the capital of Tangier Alliance, while Eurogate International GmbH and Contship Italia S.p.a hold 40% less one share.

It should be noted that Tangier Alliance is a concessionaire for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the Tangier Med II Port container terminal, which has a capacity of 1.5 million TEUs. This terminal will enter service in mid-2020.
