Heetch shows its ambitions for French-speaking Africa

Heetch platform announced Thursday it raised $ 38 million (34 million euros) to accelerate its development in French-speaking Africa, France and Belgium.

The company, which has launched its services in Morocco (Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech), also plans to deploy in Algeria where it is finalizing its implementation.

In West Africa, Heetch has started testing in Ivory Coast and plans to launch in Senegal by the end of the year. The service must also be deployed in Cameroon by the end of 2019, says Heetch.

Remember that the platform was launched in 2013 on a sharing economy model for young night owls. She had been sentenced in France, in particular for complicity in the illegal exercise of the taxi profession. In 2017, Heetch has been reconverted into a more traditional platform service.
