Helicopter crash with a false registration

A helicopter bearing the number “SA318C_Alouette 2”, a false registration of the Spanish police, crashed around the city of Assilah last Friday, according to Moroccan military sources.

Piloted by a Mexican, the aircraft carried cocaine and tried to fly over the national space at low altitude, with the intention of escaping the vigilance of radar. It has been detected by the Royal Armed Forces.

Slightly injured after the crash, trying to reach the other side of the Mediterranean, the pilot, aged 50, was arrested by members of the Royal Gendarmerie. Transferred to hospital for treatment, he should be interrogated to determine the exact causes of the crash and explain his involvement in cocaine trafficking. The drug shipment was from a country in South America to Spain, according to the first elements of the investigation.
