Human Rights: Morocco and UNDP Join Forces

Morocco and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) pledge to promote democratic culture and human rights.

The Kingdom and the UN body signed on Monday in Rabat, the project document “Support to the implementation of the National Plan of Action on Democracy and Human Rights (PANDDH)” covering the period 2018-2021.

This project, with funding of nearly 30 Million MAD aims to facilitate the flow of information to all stakeholders.

The objective is also to strengthen the knowledge and capacities of the institutional actors involved in the implementation of the PANDDH and to develop normative tools and indicators that will enable Morocco to report the evolution of the implementation of the PANDDH.

For implementation, the Ministry of Human Rights will monitor and evaluate the program, and will also support its deployment at the territorial level.
