IAEA: Morocco elected Vice-President

Morocco was elected Monday in Vienna as Vice-President of the 63rd General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as the representative of the African continent.

The election of the Kingdom is recognition of its rich, diversified and multifaceted contribution to international efforts to strengthen the international nuclear and radiological safety and security regime. It should be noted that Mexico held the presidency of the IAEA General Conference.
