ICSID: New complaint against Morocco

After two complaints against Morocco, including one from Carlyle about SAMIR, the Kingdom is once again under attack at ICSID (International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes).

The German company Scholz Holding GmbH has filed a request for arbitration with this institution of the World Bank about a metallurgical industry project. Scholz believes that the bilateral investment treaty of 2001 between Morocco and Germany is applicable to the case. The company did not disclose the amount it requests.

The German company specializes in scrap recycling. His complaint was registered on January 3, says the website of ICSID without giving more details.
