Imlil murders: The Gendarmerie takes new measures

Following the assassination of two Scandinavian tourists in Imlil, the Royal Gendarmerie of Al Haouz recently created four temporary posts along the road leading to Mount Toubkal, informed sources said.

And to clarify that the elements of General Haramou proceed, from now, to verify the identity of hikers, Moroccans and foreigners, to ensure their safety.

In addition, sources indicated that the ascent of Mount Toubkal was banned after 15h and visitors are no longer allowed to spend the night in tents, but in hotels around the region.

Recall that the BCIJ made several arrests in the context of this case that shook the region last December.
