Invention: Morocco stands out in Poland

Morocco won gold medals, five honors and the grand prize of the public at the International Invention and Innovation Show of Poland (INTARG) held from June 4 to 5 in Katowice.

The Kingdom represented by the EMSI (Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences) through its two laboratories “SMARTilab” and “LPRI”, won gold for its two inventions “Smartrafic” and “Smart Factory 4.0”. EMSI has also won five awards, including from WIIPA (World Invention Intellectual Property Associations), as well as the public’s grand prize.

Innovation “Smartrafic” is a decentralized system based on radio frequency identification and image processing, able to manage urban traffic in an optimal and intelligent way. This system identifies vehicles in a state of emergency (VVIP, firefighters, ambulances, police …) and controls the traffic light dynamically. As for the ”Smarty Factory 4.0” project, it is a multi-protocol multi-industry multi-interface communication device for data acquisition in the form of mode bus and analog/digital I/O frames.
