Morocco represented by its research, development and innovation laboratories “SMARTiLAB” and “LPRI” and the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI), was awarded respectively for “SmartTraffic”, “E -Braille Ring” and “Smarty Factory 4.0,”says Saturday the EMSI in a statement.
The “SmarTraffic” innovation, which was awarded with a gold medal in this competition, is a decentralized system based on radio frequency identification and image processing capable of managing urban traffic in an optimal way. It identifies vehicles in a state of emergency (VVIP, fire, ambulance and police) and dynamically controls traffic lights, the statement said.
The “E-Braille Ring” invention, also awarded with a gold scourge, allows the visually impaired to integrate into society and take advantage of modern technologies while preserving privacy. This technique also offers an effective learning approach compared to the audio solution introduced in smartphones, says the same source.
The “Smarty Factory 4.0” project, which received a silver medal at the show, is a multi-interface, multi-protocol and multi-industry communication device that enables the acquisition of data in the form of video frames. mode bus and analog and digital inputs/outputs, the statement said.
The president of the EMSI Group, Kamal Daissaoui, stressed on this occasion, that the school makes every effort to contribute to the development of invention and innovation in Morocco and aspires to continue to honorably represent the Kingdom in prestigious international events, says the same source.
EMSI has won 34 awards at major national and international competitions, said the source.
