Inwi announced the launch, this summer as a national preview, of its mobile money service and this, at the Mpay Forum, held Wednesday in Casablanca with the participation of more than 200 local and international mobile payments operators.
The global operator is indeed the first telecom operator to have obtained the final approval of Bank Al Maghrib, via its new mobile payment subsidiary, said a statement from Inwi.
The MPay Forum was also an opportunity to highlight the contribution of Mobile Money in the emergence of new financial and digital services tailored to the needs and uses of Moroccans and this, as in many countries in the world, says the same source.
With the capillarity of its network and the strength of its brand, Inwi will allow its customers but also all Moroccans, holders of a mobile phone, to access a wide range of mobile financial services that will allow them to a click, to do everything instantly (transfer, pay and withdraw money, pay, recharge their line, etc…). The Mobile Money by Inwi will offer greater financial inclusion in Morocco by allowing the greatest number of Moroccans to access, everywhere, several financial services, the statement concludes.
