Ivanka Trump proceeded on Thursday in Sidi Kacem, at the launch of a campaign to support the operation for the appropriation of the lands soulaliyates within the framework of the Global Initiative for the Development and Prosperity of Women (W-GDP). During this field visit, she became aware of women’s access to collective land, a project initiated under King Mohammed VI’s High Guidelines and considered a major priority of W-GDP to consolidate empowerment of women in Morocco.
Recall that the young woman, advisor to the US president, arrived Wednesday at the airport of Rabat-Salé. Upon arrival at the airport, Ivanka Trump was greeted by Princess Lalla Meryem.
The Global Initiative for Women’s Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) is a program led by Ivanka Trump with the ambition to help the economic empowerment of 50 million women by 2025. According to the White House, This is Trump’s third international trip dedicated to promoting his W-GDP initiative, with previous trips, including to Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Argentina and Paraguay.
