Ivanka Trump, daughter and adviser to US President Donald Trump, arrived this Wednesday at Rabat-Salé airport for a visit to Morocco. Upon arrival at the airport, Ivanka Trump was greeted by Princess Lalla Meryem.
The daughter of Donald Trump was then greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita and Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Rabat, David Greene as well as by other personalities.
Ivanka Trump’s visit includes the promotion of her Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP).
The Global Initiative for Women’s Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) is a program led by Ivanka Trump with the aim of helping the economic empowerment of 50 million women by 2025.
Ivanka Trump will pay a visit to Sidi Kacem and will also have meetings with Moroccan officials in Rabat and Casablanca.
According to the White House, this is Ms. Trump’s third international trip to promote her W-GDP initiative, with previous trips, including to Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Colombia, Argentina and Paraguay.
