King Abdullah II leaves Morocco

King Abdullah II, Sovereign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, left late Thursday afternoon, Morocco, after a visit of friendship and work, at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.

The Hashemite Sovereign was greeted on his departure from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca by Prince Moulay Rachid. After reviewing a detachment of the Light Security Brigade, which paid the honors, King Abdullah II was hailed by Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit and Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

He was also greeted by the ambassador of Morocco in Jordan, the governor of the province of Nouaceur and several other civil and military personalities.

King Abdullah II arrived in Morocco on Wednesday evening for a visit illustrating the depth of the relations of fraternity, cooperation and solidarity uniting the two brother peoples, thanks to the common will of the two Sovereigns.
