London warns British traveling to Morocco

The UK has warned British tourists to Morocco of the “increased threat” of terrorist attacks. This alert comes three months after the murder of Scandinavian tourists in Imlil.

In an update on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, London has warned of the risks associated with the return of some fighters left in conflict zones, saying that the Moroccan security services are multiplying the dismantling of terrorist cells.

In total, 650,000 British tourists visit Morocco each year. “Most visits are going smoothly,” says the UK Department.
