Argentine football legend Diego Maradona left Sunday the clinic in Buenos Aires where he had been operated Saturday gastric bleeding, said his lawyer Matias Morla.
“Diego Maradona is out of the hospital and will continue to convalesce at home,” said the lawyer on Twitter.
Maradona, 58, was operated on Saturday night following the discovery of stomach bleeds during a medical check-up on Jan. 4 after his contract extension as coach of the Mexican club “Dorados de Sinaloa” (2nd Division).
“Thanks to the medical staff and nurses of the clinic for their professionalism, Diego wants to thank everyone who has been concerned about his health,” added Matias Morla.
Diego Maradona should resume his coaching position of “Dorados de Sinaloa” once his convalescence ended.
