MASEN moves closer to Africa Finance Corporation

Masen (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy) concluded on Tuesday in Johannesburg, a cooperation agreement with the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), on the sidelines of the 2nd edition of the Africa Investment Forum (AIF-2019), which is currently in Johannesburg.

The agreement, signed by Masen CEO Mustapha Bakkoury and AFC’s Executive Director for Financial Services, Sanjeev Gupta, will strengthen cooperation between the two parties in the development of renewable energy projects in Africa.

The AFC, born in 2007 and based in Nigeria, is a pan-African financial institution that aims to fill the gap in investment in infrastructure. It operates in various sectors (energy, transport, logistics, telecoms, …).
