Messi wins the sixth Golden Shoe of his career

FC Barcelona striker Lionel Messi won the title of top scorer in the European leagues on Friday 25 May 2019 for the sixth time in his career, finishing in front of PSG young prodigy Kylian Mbappé.

The French world champion was the only one able to dislodge the Argentine from his throne, but he had to settle for a single goal on Friday, during the defeat of Paris in Reims (3-1). With 33 goals this season in Ligue 1, Mbappé finishes with three units of Messi, who gleans this trophy for the third year in a row.
