More than 126000 people already vaccinated in Morocco

More than 126000 people have been vaccinated against covid-19 as of Sunday evening in Morocco, an official at the health ministry said.

“This is an indicator that allows us to confirm that the launch of the vaccination operation is taking place in the best conditions”, welcomed the director of the population department at the Ministry of Health, Abdelhakim Yahyane, in a statement.

The official assured that the vaccination campaign is proceeding smoothly, without any risk of side effects.

Launched Thursday by King Mohammed VI, the vaccination campaign will be free for all citizens with the objective of immunizing all components of the Moroccan people (30 million people, or about 80% of the population), then reducing eliminate cases of contamination and death due to the epidemic and contain the spread of the virus.
