More than 4.3 million people fully vaccinated in Morocco

The number of people who have received the first dose of the anti-covid vaccine has reached 5,334,087, the Ministry of Health announced, noting that there are people who have been fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd doses) from 4,346,867.

In addition, a total of 360 new cases of coronavirus infection and 426 cures were recorded in 24 hours, the ministry said in its daily bulletin on the situation of Covid-19.

This new report brings to 513,016 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in March 2020, while the number of recovered people rose to 499,917, a cure rate of 97.4%, specifies the ministry.

As for the total number of deaths, it rose to 9,049 with 6 new cases recorded in 24 hours, a case fatality rate of 1.8%. These deaths were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (3), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (2) and Fès-Meknes (1).

The new contaminations were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (230), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (34), Marrakech-Safi (27), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (13), Souss-Massa (13), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (12), Darâa-Tafilalet (10), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (9), Oriental (6), Fès-Meknes (4) and Béni Mellal-Khénifra (2).

The number of active cases amounts to 4,050, while the severe or critical cases number 293, of which 19 are placed under intubation.
