More than 4 million people vaccinated in Morocco

65762 people received their second dose of vaccine and 55146 new people were vaccinated for the first time in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall number of vaccinated to 4017087, the health ministry said. In addition, 508 new cases of coronavirus infection and 664 recoveries have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco.

The new report brings to 486833 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported last March, and to 473208 that of fully recovered people (a cure rate of 97.2%), the ministry said in its daily bulletin on the Covid-19 situation.

The total number of deaths rose to 8695, with 12 new deaths recorded in 24 hours, for a case fatality rate of 1.8%. The number of tests carried out is 9295 tests.

Note that as of today, 4017087 people have already received the vaccine in Morocco, of which 120908 during the last 24 hours and 717113 people have already received their second dose.
