Moroccan ambassadors return to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi

The ambassadors of Morocco to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates resumed their duties on Monday, February 11, respectively in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

Sources said that the Kingdom’s ambassadors to Saudi Arabia Mustapha Mansouri and the United Arab Emirates Mohamed Ait Ouali left Morocco for the two capitals to continue their missions.

While the two ambassadors were in Morocco, Nasser Bourita reacted to reports that Morocco has recalled its ambassadors to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement to the Sputnik news agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has brushed aside these rumors. “These allegations are totally false and unfounded. This information has not been officially announced. Moroccan diplomacy has always announced its decisions and expressed its positions through its official channels and not through an American news agency,” he said. A government official had in fact revealed the information to the Associated Press.
