Morocco and Frontex coordinate actions against cross-border crime

The Polish capital Warsaw hosted a working session between Morocco and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) focusing on ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides in order to meet the challenges illegal migration and cross-border crime.

At this meeting led by the Wali, director of migration and border surveillance at the Ministry of the Interior, Khalid Zerouali, and the Executive Director of Frontex Agency, Fabrice Leggeri, the debates focused on the central role Morocco in the fight against illegal migration and cross-border crime, the evaluation of coordination mechanisms and the different aspects of cooperation.
