The review of ways to strengthen cooperation in the economic field was the focus of an interview, Sunday in Ramallah, between the Moroccan Ambassador to Palestine, Mohammed Al-Hamzaoui, and the Palestinian Minister of Finance and National Economy, Khalid Al-Assaily.
During the meeting, the Palestinian Minister expressed his satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the two brother countries in various fields, expressing his hope that this dynamic will include the field of economy and finance.
He highlighted the draft Memorandum of Cooperation in the economic fields between the two countries, noting that he aspires to work with the Moroccan side to complete its preparation and signature as soon as possible.
The Palestinian leader praised the commendable efforts of King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al Quds Committee, to support the Palestinian cause.
For his part, Al-Hamzaoui noted Morocco’s interest in bilateral cooperation with Palestine, expressing its willingness to examine the proposals of the Palestinian side for the benefit of the two brother peoples with the aim of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the economic field.
The Moroccan diplomat reiterated Morocco’s stable position in favor of the Palestinian cause, underlining the efforts of His Majesty the King in this area, the most recent of which was the signing of “Al Quds call” with the Pope.
