Morocco: Burkina Faso opens consulate general in Dakhla

Burkina Faso opened, this Friday, October 23, 2020, a consulate general in Dakhla. It thus join other African countries whose consulates are already open in the Moroccan Sahara region.

The inauguration ceremony of the Brkina Faso consulate was co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his Burkinabien counterpart, Mr. Alpha Barry.

This is the 5th consular representation inaugurated in Dakhla in 2020, after the consulate general of Gambia, opened on January 7, the consulate general of Guinea, which began to offer its services on the 17th of the same month, the consulate General of the Republic of Djibouti (February 28) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Liberia (March 12).
