The Moroccan national football team climbed four places in the FIFA world rankings released on Thursday, from 39th position to 35th.
With a total of 1474 points, the Atlas Lions occupy the 4th position at the African level, tied with Nigeria (35th, 1474), and behind Senegal (20th, 1558), Tunisia (26th, 1503), Algeria (31st, 1488).
At the top of the hierarchy, Belgium (1780 pts) still retains its leader’s chair, followed by France (2nd, 1755 pts) and Brazil (3rd, 1743 points). England (4th), Portugal (5th), Spain (6th), Argentina (7th), Uruguay (8th), Mexico (9th) and Italy (10th) complete the Top 10.
