Morocco exceeds 2 million people vaccinated

The mark of 2 million people vaccinated has been reached in the kingdom. In 24 hours, the health services have vaccinated 176844 people. In addition, a total of 508 new cases of coronavirus infection and 838 recoveries have been recorded in the past 24 hours in Morocco, the health ministry said on Wednesday.

The new toll brings to 479579 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported last March, and to 461466 that of fully recovered people, a cure rate of 96.2%, the ministry said in its daily bulletin on the Covid-19 situation.

The total number of deaths rose to 8517, with 13 new deaths recorded in 24 hours, for a case fatality rate of 1.8%. The number of tests carried out is 9601 tests.

Note that as of today, 2081013 people have already benefited from the vaccine in Morocco, including 176844 in the last 24 hours.
