Morocco exceeds one million people vaccinated

A total of 496 new cases of coronavirus infection and 631 recoveries have been recorded in the past 24 hours in Morocco, the health ministry said on Friday.

The new report brings to 477656 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported last March, and to 457956 that of fully recovered people, a cure rate of 96%, the ministry said in its daily bulletin on the situation of the Covid-19.

The total number of deaths rose to 8450, with 10 new deaths recorded in 24 hours, a case fatality rate of 1.8%. The number of tests carried out is 11125 tests.

Note that as of today, 1112103 people have already benefited from the vaccine in Morocco, including 256785 in the last 24 hours.
