Morocco has 22.1 tons in gold reserves

Morocco has 22.1 tons of gold in its reserves, worth an estimated $ 1.14 billion, ranking 62nd in the world, according to the latest report from the “World Gold Council”.

The United States ranks first with 8133.5 tonnes of gold, valued at $ 419.5 billion. Germany comes in second with 3363.6 tonnes, followed by the International Monetary Fund (2814 tonnes), Italy (2451.8 tonnes) and France (2436 tonnes). Russia (2299.9 tonnes), China (1948.3 tonnes), Switzerland (1040 tonnes), Japan (765.2 tonnes) and India (657.7 tonnes) complete the Top 10 global.
