Morocco recognizes (finally) the importance of insects

Morocco is embarking on a pilot project launched by the German Ministry of the Environment, involving six other countries and requiring more than 6.5 million euros. The project aims to protect and ensure the protection of pollinating insects, reports an article from the German news site DW.

Launched in October 2017, this experimental project, which will end in May 2022, aims to develop a method called FAP, “Farming with Alternative Pollinators”, which consists in fertilizing plants through alternative pollinators.
