Morocco renounces GAFA taxation project

Following the example of several European countries including France and Germany, Morocco expected to apply a tax on the profits of Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon, allowing him to recover not less than 400 million dirhams of taxes by year.

Mohamed Benchaaboun, Finance Minister, however, expressed the government’s rejection of an amendment in this regard during the consideration of the 2020 finance bill in parliament.
