With 135 factories, Morocco remains the third country where supplies Mango, a Spanish company specializing in the design, manufacture and marketing via franchises of clothing and accessories. China remains Mango’s main supply center, despite the reduction in its number of plants by 11.6%, from 370 to 327. Turkey is its second largest hub with 244 production centers, or 10.9% more than in 2017, while Morocco ranks third with 135 plants, an increase of 20.5%.
In 2018, Mango deployed a strategy to focus its purchasing network, reducing the number of suppliers by 7.6% compared to 2017. Thus, its suppliers increased from 607 to 561 in 2018, while the number of factories goes from 1,256 to 1,208.
