Morocco wins SIMCUP medical simulation competition

After winning the SIMCUP National in Fez, the Moroccan team of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Oujda won the International SIMCUP in the Czech Republic by winning in the final against France.

The Moroccan team is the me composed only of medical students, while the other teams have doctors in specialization.

The Moroccan team took first place in the first round, played in the semi-finals with the United Kingdom and qualified for the final against France which it managed to win.

During this medical exercise, students are faced with a real but simulated emergency, according to the same source, which states that this event aims to achieve a mastery without endangering the patient’s life.
