Nippon Express launches new line between Morocco and Japan

A new border transport service for goods from Japan to Morocco has just been launched. Nippon Express Co.Ltd launched “NEX-Forwarding Gibraltar Liner”, a freight service to Casablanca and Tangier, via Paris.

Thus, “the freight is routed from Japanese airports to Paris and, once the shipping procedures are completed, the goods are transported and delivered by truck to the commercial sites of Nippon Express in Morocco (Casablanca and Tangier) within six to ten days,” said Nippon Express in a statement.

“The costs of transporting this service are lower than those of conventional direct air transport to Morocco,” said the Japanese company.

As a reminder, Nippon Express is the only Japanese freight forwarder with offices in Morocco.
