Nordin Amrabat wants to build a mosque in Netherlands

The Dutch-Moroccan international, Nordin Amrabat, intends to build a mosque in his hometown, Naarden, in the Netherlands. In this sense, he launched a fundraiser that mobilizes many people, including football figures such as Hakim Ziyech, the future Chelsea winger.

Nordin presents his initiative in a video posted on the mosque’s Facebook page. “I am here in the Netherlands. We are trying to build a mosque and here are the first sketches. What do you think of it?” Said the Al Nasr striker, calling on his fans to contribute to the realization of this project.

The project is already receiving the support of football personalities. In a video published on the Instagram account of the Dutch-Moroccan international returning from Saudi Arabia, we see players like his brother Sofyan, Hakim Ziyech or Ibrahim Afellay who sign and offer their shirts for an auction. The funds raised will be used to build the mosque.
