ONDA: A 2nd airport in Marrakech by 2025

Ambitious to welcome 60 million travelers by 2025, the National Airports Authority (ONDA) intends to build new terminals in the next five years in major cities across the country. These new terminals will thus relieve congestion at airports and launch new air links.

Thus, a third terminal will be built at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, to accommodate 23 million passengers in 2025 compared to the 10 million served in 2019; a second airport will be opened in Marrakech and the Al Massira airport in Agadir (more than 2 million travelers welcomed in 2019) will be expanded to increase its capacity to 7 million passengers.
