Photovoltaic: Ingeteam strengthens in Morocco

The Spanish company Ingeteam, which specializes in the maintenance of power plants, is strengthening its presence in Morocco with the opening of a new subsidiary. This subsidiary, dedicated to renewable energies, has already won contracts in the field of photovoltaics and plans to enter the wind energy sector.

In Morocco, Ingeteam employs around 15 people to operate and maintain 3 photovoltaic plants with an installed capacity of 71.5 MW, 84.5 MW and 19.5 MW, respectively. Last year, the company also supplied PV inverters to these power plants, which are among the largest in North Africa. The electricity produced is delivered to the national electricity grid, covering the demand of thousands of households.
