Emmerson Plc, the British company that is to exploit the potash deposit at Khémisset, has completed metallurgical testing (“Met Testing”).
The program has expired at the end of June and the results were compiled during the month of July, says the company. The tests included the decomposition of ore particles at different sizes and magnetic separation.
Note that the project is considered one of the least expensive in the world and one of the most profitable. According to the operator, recovery rates of ores, estimated between 82% and 86% in a first study, are achievable.
