Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will add a new flight, Sao Paulo-Casablanca, to its portfolio, a statement from Brazilian media said.
RAM expects to launch the new flight in December or January. It is the fourth connecting Sao Paulo to Morocco. According to the same statement, Brazilians can also reach Morocco with two other flights from Rio de Janeiro.
With this new route, the RAM will bring to six the total number of flights connecting Morocco to Brazil, every week. This decision, according to media, comes at a time when RAM is about to join the Air Alliance, Oneworld, in mid-2020.
Present at Expo Abav for International Tourism in Brazil, from September 25 to 27, RAM, through its Sales Director, informed Brazilian media about the Oneworld Agreement.
“We signed it, but now we need to integrate systems, mileage, data. It takes time, but in June, everything will probably be connected,” said Luanda Cesar Alruiz, Royal Air Maroc Sales Director, who said that by joining the Alliance, “RAM will be able to connect to other ports of call. in Brazil and Latin America”.
The Sales Manager noted, however, that the Agreement would help the company grow “a lot”.
“Since the connecting flight, customers will be able to easily register two 23-kg bags and carry a 10-kg pocket item. For example, if they leave Porto Alegre to take the flight to Sao Paulo, luggage will be included in the final ticket price, single. This will reduce costs for passengers,” he added.
